Text expansion is not per-seat per-month

The category default is โ€œper user, per month.โ€ That is not the layout here. The purchase block has two tabs: Buyout and Cloud. The amount on the payment page wins. The table lives in Pricing.

Coworkers share one pack of repliesTeam seat, one per person; writing the org library needs two

Lifetime plus Personal yearly buys transfer, not a second script license. Lifetime plus a company Team seat buys collaboration.

What does not happen automatically

  • Pasting a key does not turn on Sync my snippets. The desktop switch stays off. The first enablement states that we can read bodies.
  • Signing in is not Pro and not the library. The account holds profile, bound keys, invites.
  • A permanent key bound to an account does not grant cloud. Yearly/monthly keys add cloud time on first claim.
  • Cancelled, offline, or signed out still expands at the free local tier. Nothing remote-wipes the library.

Free GIF is 15 seconds with a watermark. Scrolling capture and OCR have daily caps. Do not map this free tier onto a competitorโ€™s โ€œfive active snippetsโ€ plan.

Do not

  • Do not buy one Team seat and expect to edit the org library on the web.
  • Do not read โ€œI have an accountโ€ as โ€œI am syncing.โ€
  • Prices move on the payment page, not on an old post.
